Pike Road Church Gives Back to Louisiana Flood Victims

floodFlood waters are continuing to recede across Louisiana, but clean up efforts are only now getting underway.

FEMA says the number of people who have registered for assistance in the 20 affected parishes has jumped to more than 103,000. That number is a total the agency hasn’t seen since Hurricane Sandy in 2012.

40,000 homes were damaged and the water reached areas where many thought flood insurance was not necessary. As they try to get things back to normal, you can do your part to help.
