$10,000 Reward Offered in Billboard Vandalism

A billboard owner is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with recent vandalism on a digital billboard in Troy.

The display, owned by Durden Outdoor Displays has been vandalized 3 times in the last 60 days. The suspect or suspects cut the boards wires, causing the sign not to work properly. It’s the first time the company has experienced a vandalism problem. Cameras have recently been installed by the company to catch the person responsible.

“First time shame on us for not being set up and prepared for a vandal. The second and third time shame on you because we’re coming after you. Now it’s in felony territory,”says Bill Durden.

If you have information that could lead to an arrest for vandalism of the sign, you are asked to contact the Troy Police Department at 566-5555.
