Authorities in Marion say they’ve recovered the second getaway vehicle used by two suspects who robbed a bank Wednesday morning.

Police chief Patrick Essex says the suspects ditched and burned one getaway car, then got into another vehicle.

He says the second vehicle was located in Selma Wednesday night but the robbery suspects are still on the loose.

“The bank manager stated to me that a guy, one of the suspects came in about a couple of days before and just walked through the bank but never did make a deposit or nothing,” said Essex.

“He was just inside walking around and he just walked back out and left.”

The FBI, the Perry County Sheriff’s Office and the Fourth Judicial Drug Task Force are assisting Marion Police with the investigation.
