2016 Huntingdon Marching Honor Band Performs
Around 400 honor band students had the opportunity to take the field with Huntingdon’s Marching Scarlet and Grey Band.
40 schools represented this year’s marching honor band.Students from across the state and surrounded states participated. Students only had a few hours this morning to rehearse their routine before their half-time show. Assistant band director, Adam Murphy says that it’s a great chance for students to perform with other college students and like-minded band students.
“It gives us an opportunity to interact with high school students and show off Huntingdon College and all of the great things we have to offer here and also gives them a chance to put an honor band experience on their resume and also participate in a giant band,” says Murphy.
