Tailgating Across Troy

Hours before kickoff, Trojan fans were getting in the spirit across the city.
The city and chamber of commerce hosted a Downtown Tailgate.
This is the first time an ACC team’s played in Troy, so there was a large crowd. Good news for local businesses.
This was also the first game that Troy fans were able to buy beer in the stadium.
Steven Mcintyre, a Troy fan said, “Beer and football kind of go hand in hand. So I’m glad Troy is finally on board and allowing us to do this.”
Katie Rae said, “For families they can just come and enjoy a drink and a nice evening. I don’t know I like it, I like it a lot.”
Some of the other new changes at Veterans Memorial- a new video board and also an express lane for security.
