“Mixed emotions. It’s tough. We work so hard. With an outcome like that, it’s tough.”
On moving forward from this…
“We just have to get to work on Monday. We have to throw it behind us. As much as it hurts, we have to bounce back from it.”
On playing at Jordan-Hare Stadium…
“It’s not difficult at all. We had opportunities and we have to execute them.”

“I didn’t hear that at all. Danny (Etling) told us to snap it and that’s what we did. I don’t even know what was going on. We snapped it and sat back. I knew it had to be a pass, but I had no idea if the clock was running or not or what was going on, but that’s football. That’s just the way it is.”
On if he thought they won…
“That was unbelievable. I definitely thought we did. It’s crazy. One second you do, but then one second you don’t, but that’s college football.”

“We did good on the defense, we got a lot of field goals. On the offensive side we need a little work. We need a little work on both sides.”
On the frustrating ending…
“We were pretty frustrated. We ran up the field like we had it, but there was a flag. It hurt”
On the end-of-game confusion…
“I don’t know what happened, I didn’t see the replay or nothing. I just have to see what happened.”
On the team’s overall performance…
“We played good, we’re stopping where we really need to stop. Like on the goal line and the 4th-and-2. We could’ve come and got off the field on the 3rd down a little better, but at the end of the day we got three points.”
On the attitude needed to move forward for a possible SEC championship…
“We just have to keep pushing. Keep fighting. You never know who is going to lose, and when they’re going to lose. We’re still in the hunt. We lost one conference game. We lost one non-conference game. We still have a pretty good chance.”
On this being a tough way to lose a game…
“Yeah it’s tough. It’s hard mentally. But we have to find a way to get over the hump.”
