Reports: Tide QB Blake Barnett to transfer out of Alabama
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AlabamaNews.Net) – Four games into the 2016 football season, the Alabama Crimson Tide is apparently preparing to lose one of it’s young quarterbacks.
Multiple reports out of Tuscaloosa this afternoon have redshirt freshman Blake Barnett transferring out of the uinversity.
Barnett, a former five-star quarterback recruit, was not seen during either of the two media viewing sessions of the team’s practices Wednesday.
Barnett started the season-opening game against USC, before true freshman Jalen Hurts won the position the following week.
