From the West Alabama Newsroom–
Authorities in Uniontown are investigating the city’s first murder of the year.
Police have identified the murder victim as 40 year old Adam Brown of Uniontown.
They say Brown was found shot to death Tuesday in his mobile home on Leroy Brown Drive.
They say robbery may have been a motivating factor in the killing.
“We found his pockets turned inside out, so we assume that it was a robbery,” said Lt. Adrian Watters with the Uniontown Police Department.
Anyone with information about the shooting call Uniontown Police at (334) 581-5144.
