QUOTING THE COACH
“I thought our guys ran well, especially being our third 8K in three weeks,” head coach Ryan Thompson said. “We are getting stronger each week and putting pieces together to be a competitive team. Having four guys run sub-30’s was encouraging, but having a fifth runner near that mark is a huge positive. I was proud of Jacob Russell and Jacob Crouch today. Only five freshman finished ahead of Jacob Russell, so he continues to have a strong freshman season, while Jacob ran a personal best by almost a full minute.”
UP NEXT
• The men will conclude their season on Friday, Oct. 14, when they participate in the Crimson Classic, hosted by the University of Alabama. The meet is slated for a 9 a.m. start.
