Mainly dry and still hot this week, rain chances return this weekend
Monday morning was mainly sunny and dry. Our area likely remains dry for the rest of Monday with a partly to mostly sunny sky. Meanwhile, summer heat continues, with high temperatures in the mid 90s and peak heat indices near or over 100°. Monday night looks mostly clear with lows in the low 70s. Tuesday could be hotter, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 90s and higher heat indices. Tuesday also looks rain-free with a partly to mostly sunny sky.
