Selma PD Arrest Shooter After Being Released from Hospital
On October 13, police responded to the Vaughn Hospital ER in reference to a gunshot victim.
The victim is a 21 year old, black male and a resident of Selma. The victim suffered a gunshot to the rear of his right shoulder and was treated at the Vaughn Hospital.
The victim was able to identify the shooter as Ladarrius Benjamin Parker, 20, also a resident of Selma. The victim stated that Parker shot him after he attempted to break up a fight between two females.
Parker was arrested at the Vaughn Hospital ER after he reported that he was walking down the Lauderdale Street near 6th Ave. and someone shot at him inflicting minor injuries.
He was treated and released, then arrested by the detectives with the Selma Police Department.
Parker was charged with Assault 1st and given a NO BOND.
