Butler County Haunted Firehouse Set to Open

Butler County will welcome the fair this weekend, and there’s another big event that will also attract people to the area. But it’s not for the faint at heart. One of the state’s most well known haunted houses will also open this weekend.
The Greenville Haunted Firehouse is almost ready to open it’s gates to the community.
It’s managed by the local Fire marshals, Firefighters, and county inspectors.
But it isn’t your run-of-the-mill haunted house. Les Liller is one of the operators of this event who goes above and beyond to make sure visitors get a unique experience.
“We attend a convention every year. It’s called the midwest convention in Columbus, Ohio. with attending that we go through workshops, classes and we’re able to learn from a lot of people in the industry.” Said Liller.

The operators also go to other haunted houses around the country to learn new ideas to bring back to Butler County. This haunted house has everything from clowns, snakes, spiders, and even butcher rooms. But the added features come with a hefty price tag. It costs 15,000 dollars to get the house ready this year.
Tickets cost seven dollars. The Haunted House is set to open this Friday. All the proceeds from the Haunted Firehouse goes to the Greenville Fireman’s League, where they will donate that money to charity and the local community.
