Quiet Week of Weather

DRY, BUT PLEASANT START TO WEEK: A strong trough moving through the Great Lakes region on Tuesday will drag an upper trough through the Lower Mississippi River Valley and the Southeast on Tuesday and Wednesday. We should see a mix of sun and clouds, and we could see a few isolated showers possible, but most locations will be staying dry.

MIDWEEK AND BEYOND: Another trough dives south across the U.S. and that is expected to bring a reinforcing shot of cooler air to end the week. At this time it appears we are going to see highs in the 70s and lows well down into the 40s, and by the weekend, cooler weather looks to head south.

CHILLY WEEKEND WEATHER: The coolest weather of the season looks to arrive by the weekend. It still appears rain does not threaten Alabama, but colder weather looks to move into the state. At this time, both Saturday and Sunday look sunny and dry, with gorgeous weather. Afternoon highs will be in in the upper 60s and lower 70s, while overnight lows could be down in the 30s by the end of the weeknd.
