Santorum Stops In Troy

We are less than one month to election day. And the countdown means some big names are hoping to drum up support at the polls.
This morning Rick Santorum made a stop at a Republican Rally in downtown Troy.
He’s known for being a one-time presidential candidate, but could he run in 2016?
He says he’s seriously considering it, but right now he’s touring to fundraise for other republican senate candidates. The GOP is looking to take back the senate this November.
Rick Santorum, a former US Senator said, “The only way the American public is going to stop this type of authoritarianism of the President thinking he’s an emperor and not a president, is to put the senate in Republican hands. And provide a check for this president to think he is some sort of minor dictator.”
Santorum says he expects 2016 campaign’s to officially start later so he thinks a lot of contenders will sit back and wait, including himself.
There will be a Democratic Party Rally tomorrow in Union Springs for candidates in state races. It starts at 4 p.m. and will be outside of Adams Pecan.Â
