Tents are up all around Troy University just like every day before a home game.

It’s not just football being celebrated, but also native American culture.

This is the first year Troy University’s hosted the Ma-chis Lower Creek Indian and other tribes Pow Wow.

Today hundreds of students from area schools got to experience native American culture.

The two day Pow Wow is free, there’s dancing and history demonstrations, vendors and more.

It’s being held all day tomorrow on the practice fields next to Veterans Memorial Stadium.
