2016 Success Starts Here Tour Highlights Medical and IT Industry
Montgomery city officials are celebrating the area’s job growth in the 2016 Success Starts Here Tour.
Area business leaders joined city officials on a bus tour to businesses leading the way. Baptist Health, Jackson Hospital and Alfa were highlighted on the tour. They have been able to secure thousands of jobs locally. Over 300 million dollars of investments were made from 36 expanding companies in 2016.
“Jackson and Baptist and Alfa have been staples in our community, pillars in our community, not only from an economic stand point but also from a social standpoint and certainly in the medical community, they’ve been leaders in medical technology,” says Mayor Todd Strange.
This the 7th year of the Success Starts Here Tour.
