Trio Charged in String of Armed Robberies in Selma

From the West Alabama Newsroom–

Selma Police arrest three suspects in a string of armed robberies around the city over the past few months.

Joshua Hardy, Lorenzo Butler and Orlando Chaney are in the Dallas County Jail charged with about half dozen armed robberies.

District Attorney Michael Jackson says the trio robbed a Family Dollar store and hit an employee in the head with a gun.

He said the trio also robbed a pastor and two deacons who were leaving church after an evening service.

“These are church people. This is a pastor, these are deacons and to do that to them. Do we just not have any shame anymore?”

Jackson says the suspects are each being held on $5,000,000 dollars bond.
