Terra Cotta Opens Farmers Market in Troy

As many farmers markets prepare to pack up for winter, one is opening for the first time in Troy.
Today’s opening day for the market at Terra Cotta just off of highway 231 on Montgomery Street.
Fresh produce comes from local vendors. And organizers there say it’s not just about putting money in the pockets of the vendors…but also giving back for the holiday season.
In the spirit of giving, leaders at the farmer’s market selected local non-profits to help out.
If you bring donations for the area Salvation Army, toys for the local child advocacy center, or donations for Troy Animal Rescue Project, the store is offering ten percent off your purchase.
