Bama Fans Speak Out on Rankings
Number 4 Alabama will take on the number one team in the country Saturday, Mississippi State.
If Alabama wins, fans say it should shake up the polls.
“I think they should certainly jump in the listings. I don’t know about the #1 ranking. But, yes, at least take TCU,” said Jason King.
When it comes to the college playoff rankings, Alabama has narrowly missed the Top 4 each week.
Fans tell us they deserve to be in there.
“I think Oregon should be kicked out. TCU should be kicked out too,” said George Brown.
“I think they are better than Florida State anyway. They could jump to #1, but I don’t believe they will. I believe Texas Christian may jump,” said David Alexander.
But one Mississippi State fan tells us he is not afraid of the Crimson Tide.
“They don’t look like the Alabama we used to look at say 4 or 5 years ago. They don’t have what Mississippi State has this year. I believe this is Mississippi State’s turn. This is their time,” said State fan Dennis Huggins.
Alabama fans tell us what they think needs to happen to knock off the Bulldogs.
“One of the best things for Alabama right now is more ball control. Still have a pretty good game as far as running the ball, but we still have a lot of problems with dropped balls on long passes, so lot of improvement there I would think,” said King.
Right now, its anyone’s guess as to what will happen.
But they agree it will be a true test.
This weekend is gonna clear a lot of that up,” said Alexander.
