Troy Home Opener with New Head Coach

Trojan fans kicked off their home opener and a new era this weekend. 

 
Hundreds of fans came out to tailgate in the home opener against Charleston Southern.
This is the first home game with new head coach Neal Brown. He takes the place of Larry Blakeney who coached the Trojans for more than two decades. Fans are excited to see how the Trojans perform with their new leader.
 
Casey Roper, a Troy Fan from Mckenzie, AL said, “This is a new offense that I am really looking forward to. This guy has a lot of energy and Kentucky was really good under his offense. So I am looking forward to it.”
 
Jennifer Mccombs, a Troy Fan from Birmingham said, “There’s a different energy in the air around here. I think everybody is excited about what this team is going to do and the strength that it’s building.”
