O’Neill leads No. 10 Kentucky women to 78-57 win over Auburn

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) – Jennifer O’Neill scored 17 points to lead four players in double figures and No. 10 Kentucky remained unbeaten in the Southeastern Conference with a 78-57 win over Auburn on Thursday night.

O’Neill shot 5 of 11 from the field and sank five 3-pointers for the Wildcats (14-2, 3-0). Linnae Harper added 15 points, and Alexis Jennings and Makayla Epps had 12 apiece.

Jennings scored Kentucky’s first five points and helped the Wildcats establish control of the game from the opening tip. O’Neill and the rest of the team’s bench players combined for 28 points.

Kentucky forced 25 turnovers and scored 23 points off those miscues. The Wildcats never trailed and outscored the Tigers 20-7 over the last six minutes.
