5-Star Running Back Picks Alabama
5-star running back Damien Harris verbally committed to the University of Alabama on Friday.
“I decided I’m going to further my education and get a degree and continue a football career at the Univerity of Alabama. Roll Tide,” Harris said at his announcement his during a school ceremony at Madison Southern High School.
The 5’11” and 205lb runner is a Barea, Kentucky native. He is ranked as the best player in the state of Kentucky, and the 31st overall player in the nation, according to 247 Sports.
Despite leg injuries during his senior year, the four year starter finished with 6,748 yards and 113 rushing touchdowns for his high school career.Â
He picked Alabama over Kentucky and Ohio State.
