Rain and some storms may gradually become more widespread Friday afternoon. Steady light to moderate rain may remain fairly widespread through Friday evening and Friday night.
A few severe thunderstorms will be possible during the late afternoon and evening
Monday looks like another mostly sunny and dry day, with high temperatures in the 70s to near 80°. Clouds increase Tuesday, with perhaps a few stray showers late.
The last of Saturday evening’s storms clear southeast Alabama by midnight. Sunday looks mostly sunny and a bit breezy, with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
Another line of sub-severe storms was taking shape across south Mississippi late Friday evening. That line likely works into west Alabama after midnight, and continues east across our area into Saturday morning.
