Hurricane Michael continues to strengthen early this afternoon. Its maximum sustained winds are up to 110 mph, making Michael very nearly a Category 3 storm. Hurricane Michael continues to steadily strengthen. Per the 10AM NHC advisory, maximum sustained winds are now 75 mph, making Michael a Category 1 storm.
