Scattered showers and some storms re-develop along the stalled front Saturday morning. The front picks up forward speed by the afternoon, sending showers and storms south. A few storms may become strong to severe, mainly south of highway 80 and Interstate 85.
Temperatures were on either side of 80° at noon, and may approach record territory during the afternoon. The February 19th record high temperatures is 83° in Montgomery, originally set long ago in 1891.
Wednesday may remain mostly cloudy to overcast, though temperatures could still warm into the mid and upper 70s. Light, stray showers appear possible, but most of our area remains dry.
Tuesday remains partly to mostly sunny and dry, with high temperatures in the mid 70s. Clouds increase late Tuesday night, with lows in the low to mid 50s.
Temperatures warm to near 70° Monday. Monday night looks mainly clear with lows in the mid 40s. Some fog may develop, especially across southwest Alabama, early Tuesday morning.

A cold front was located in central Alabama during the early afternoon, and continues south through the rest of the day. Along the front, isolated to widely scattered showers bring brief downpours to some of our area.
Tuesday night becomes cloudy, with low temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. Some showers appear possible Wednesday, as a cold front moves through Alabama.
