Sunshine warms temperatures into the low and mid 80s Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures fall into the mid and upper 50s again Wednesday night, while the sky remains mainly clear.

The southwest part of the state has the best chance for rain and thunder Friday afternoon and evening. Otherwise, the mainly cloudy sky and rain at times hold temperatures in the 70s Friday afternoon.
The Wednesday midday severe weather outlook update from the storm prediction center includes approximately the northwest half of our viewing area within an enhanced (level 3/5) severe risk. The southeast part of our area lies within a slight (level 2/5) severe risk.
Tuesday night remains dry and milder, with lows in the 60s. Low clouds or fog may develop in some locations after midnight.
Temperatures warm into the low 80s with a mostly sunny sky Monday. Monday night looks mainly clear and cool again, with lows in the low 50s, maybe upper 40s for some.
Rain totals become much higher through Friday night, with around 1-2″ forecast along and south of highway 80 through Saturday morning. Around half an inch to one inch falls north of highway 80.
