Temperatures fall into the upper 30s early Monday morning. Sunshine increases during the day, with highs in the 50s. Monday night lows fall into the low to mid 30s.
Sunday night still looks cold, with lows in the mid to upper 20s. However, temperatures look much milder this week. Afternoon temperatures warm into the 50s despite increasing clouds Monday.
Some showers appear possible Thursday evening through Thursday night. With temperatures well above freezing (32°), it falls as all rain, not freezing rain, sleet, or otherwise.

A shot of even colder air arrives this week. Much of Monday looks mainly dry in our area, but the mid-south and Tennessee valley to our north and northwest may have a significant winter storm underway.
Strong to severe storms remain possible Friday. Early Friday morning was relatively quiet, but storms continue across mainly east Alabama during the afternoon.

Tuesday afternoon trends drier, but remains cool and breezy. Winds remains west-southwesterly at 20 mph with gusts over 30 mph. Tuesday night turns cold with a clearing sky. Lows fall into the low to mid 30s.
Some storms appear possible Monday night due to a storm system becoming quite strong to our northwest. A few storms may become strong to severe in our area, capable of damaging wind gusts and perhaps brief tornadoes.
