A dense fog advisory begins at 9PM Sunday and continues through 10AM Monday for Wilcox, Butler, Crenshaw, and Covington counties. Monday becomes mainly cloudy with some showers or even storms possible, especially during the afternoon or evening.

Fog Likely Saturday Night; Sunshine New Year’s Day

The partially cleared sky and lingering low-level humidity results in fog formation Saturday night through New Year’s Day morning. Fog could be locally dense, with visibility one-quarter mile or less at times. A dense fog advisory begins Saturday evening and continues through 10AM Sunday morning.

Thursday looks mainly cloudy and mild with highs near 60°. Some light drizzle was falling during the early morning, but more substantial showers appear possible during the afternoon or evening, especially in advance of the advertised arctic cold front

Tuesday looks like an overall dreary day. Besides steady light to moderate rain, the sky remains cloudy, and temperatures only warm to near 50° at most. A northeast breeze of 5 to 10 mph adds an extra chill to the air.

The sky becomes mostly cloudy to overcast by sunrise Saturday. Sunshine may be very limited throughout the day, with isolated to widely scattered showers also possible. Saturday could be a rather raw day with temperatures potentially struggling to reach 50° in some locations.
