Death of Waugh Man Now Being Investigated as Homicide

Sheriff’s deputies have now classified a man’s death last month as a homicide. Reports say the body of 37-year-old Labrandon Tatum of Waugh was found Sept. 19 after a friend was unable to contact him by phone. Alabama outfielder Keith Holcombe, a former linebacker for the football team, has been arrested on a charge of driving under the influence. Holcombe was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail at about 4 a.m. Thursday on $1,000 bond. Tuscaloosa police Lt.
