Alabama Shakespeare Festival Announces “Annie” Audition Dates

The Alabama Shakespeare Festival has announced an audition call for it’s upcoming production of Annie. Roles are available for adult men and women as well as female children (ages 6-15). A state inmate who walked off a job site in Montgomery on Monday is back in custody. Elmore County Sheriff’s deputies apprehended Michael Deshaun McLeod, 34, at about 9 p.m. in Wetumpka, after a tip led them to a gas station where McLeod was. He surrendered without incident. Butler County Deputy Arrested on Domestic Violence, Child Endangerment Charges

A Butler County sheriff’s Deputy has been fired after being arrested in Crenshaw County last Friday. Matthew Goodson, 22, had been employed with the Butler County Sheriff’s Department  for about six months.
