Minter man killed in Butler County crash
BUTLER COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA Action 8) – A Dallas County man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Butler County.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the crash happened around 4:30 P.M. Thursday on Creampot Road near Ridge Road, approximately 4 miles south of Minter, in Butler County.
Trooper say 50-year-old Keith Orlando Posey of Minter was fatally injured when the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe he was driving left the roadway and hit a tree.
Posey was pronounced dead at the scene.
ALEA continues to investigate the crash.
