Sears will be closing its store and auto center at Eastdale Mall in Montgomery, Alabama News Network has confirmed. Some Prattville residents are breathing a sigh of relief as help may finally be on the way after major flooding over Christmas.

The rainwater has caused major erosion in backyards on Mara Court in Prattville. What used to be a small drainage ditch, now is a 100 foot deep hole that is putting their homes in danger. Residents React to Victoryland Reopening

Macon County residents say they are looking forward to Victoryland opening back up and bringing new jobs back to the area.

Victoryland could soon be open for good in Macon County. Owner Milton McGregor made the announcement Monday. He accused Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange and the Alabama Supreme Court of scheming to keep Victoryland closed.
