Elmore County will open warming stations as temperatures in our area are expected to dip past freezing.
Florida State’s Jimbo Fisher and Auburn’s Gus Malzahn have held their final news conferences leading up to the last BCS championship game.
The Alabama Department of Transportation is monitoring road conditions ahead of those cold temperatures moving across the state. During extreme winter and cold weather conditions, ALDOT, along with local authorities, monitors road and bridge conditions and keeps resources on standby statewide to step in where needed.
With low temperatures in the single digits and highs below freezing, Montgomery residents are preparing to bundle up and stay indoors.
