College sports trading cards latest byproduct of NIL policy

College trading cards are the latest offshoot of the NCAA’s decision to allow athletes to make money off their names, images and likenesses. Industry leader Panini America has teamed up with licensing giant OneTeam Partners to begin producing cards of college athletes. It’s not just football players who will be on the cards but men’s and women’s basketball players and baseball players and athletes from Olympic sports. The NCAA last month agreed to let student-athletes monetize their fame without compromising their eligibility.
