The organization known as Women In Training held their inaugural mother daughter fundraising brunch earlier today in the capital city club ballroom downtown. The brunch was an all white affair and it was an opportunity for members and sponsors to come together and celebrate all of the accomplishments of the organization thus far.
Women In Training founders, Brooke and Breanna Bennett, were one of the 16 winners of over 230 applicants to win this year’s T-Mobile Changemaker Challenge. Their “Let’s End Poverty. Period!” project won them $5,000 along with skills training and mentorship from T-Mobile executives.
