U.S. State Senator Richard Shelby Tours Central Alabama

United States Senator Richard Shelby is in central Alabama today as part of his state-wide tour, making a stop in Wetumpka in Elmore County. This is the 33rd stop in Shelby’s tour across Alabama.Â
Shelby says, during the tour he wants to hear about the impact of Washington policies have on middle class families, job creation, and economic growth.
He weighed in on the federal judge’s decision to overturn Alabama’s ban on same-sex marriage, and Chief Justice Roy Moore’s order to probate judges not to issue same sex marriage licences.Â
Shelby also stopped in Alexander City, Union Springs and Prattville today.
He also announced that he is running for re-election in 2016.
