Officer Recieves First Responder Hero Award

A hero is described as a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.
One faithful viewer says Corporal Brian Adams fits that description. That’s why we’re honoring him with our First Responder Hero Award.

The patrol officer was nominated for the Alabama News Network Wettermark Keith First Responder Hero Award by a viewer who was caught in a hit and run incident during severe weather.

“We were right there by a gas station. We tried to run underneath that awning for the gas station. The rain was still hitting us. I think we ran into the store and filled out the paperwork,” said Brian Adams.

Adams says he filled out paperwork for well over an hour in the pouring rain, as well as making sure the victim of the accident was ok. This isn’t his first time Adams has devoted his time. He also serves in the Air Force Reserve.
