Moisture On The Increase Leading To Showers & T-storms

We remain in a rather quiet weather pattern for late April.  We’re expecting at least one more day of mainly dry conditions this week.   Temps will warm into the lower to mid 80s for highs.  There are signs we enter into an active weather pattern starting late Friday and continuing into Saturday.  Scattered showers and t-storms are likely.

In the mean time, you can expect a mostly clear sky with temps dropping into the mid to upper 50s overnight.  Thursday is look mainly sunny with temps climbing into the lower to mid 80s for highs.

Moisture will be on the increase and there’s a chance for scattered showers and t-storms Friday afternoon.  The better chance of seeing some rain activity will be west of the I-65 corridor. Most other spots will experience lots of sunshine and temps in the lower to mid 80s for highs.

A frontal boundary will push closer to the region during the upcoming weekend.  Moisture increases and we’re expecting scattered showers and t-storms to develop.   This gives us a little hope for some much needed rainfall. Some areas could pick up .50 to 1 inch of rainfall.   At this point, we don’t see anything particularly strong or severe over the weekend.   It doesn’t look like we see much, if any rain around on Sunday.

We start out dry on Monday but another round of rain and t-storms moves into the area Tuesday.   This area of rain and storms could be a bit stronger.  It’s something we’re keeping an eye on and will keep you posted.
