Auburn’s Will Muschamp Visits Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, AL — Auburn Defensive Coordinator Will Muschamp visited Montgomery on Tuesday for a ‘Boom and BBQ’ event held by the Montgomery Auburn Club.
The event serves as a scholarship fundraiser for students in Montgomery and Lowndes counties. Muschamp came to speak and sign autographs while fans ate barbecue.
“It’s great to get out an see the Auburn family,” said Muschamp. “It’s my first speaking deal since being back with Auburn. I’m looking forward to seeing everybody.”
Muschamp joined the Auburn Tiger’s staff following his departure from the University of Florida. He hopes that he can impove the 64th ranked Tiger defense from last season.
“I’m very pleased where we are in terms of our by in and our attitude,” said Muschamp. “They’ve played extremely hard through the spring. I really like where we are schematically. I think we got a lot of things accomplished. I think we have a long way to go, but that’s why we have the summer. Those are very important months for us.”
