Montgomery Food Bank Kicks Off inaugural Food Drive
One local group is helping out the Montgomery food bank in a big way hosting the First Annual ‘Stuff the Truck’ food drive.
Tie and Doll hosted the first-ever food drive at the Winn Dixie on Vaughn Road. A u-haul truck was parked outside and they literally stuffed the truck full of non-perishable food.
Danelly Elementary School gave over one thousand items. Tie and Doll is a youth organization that helps young people expand their horizons.Â
They’re working to make sure montgomery area kids don’t go hungry during the summer.Â
