Capital Hyundai Highsman Winner Josh Thomas accepts scholarship check

Montgomery, AL – Montgomery Academy quarterback Josh Thomas was awarded a $2,500 scholarship check at the Capital Hyundai dealership in Montgomery on Thursday.
The $2,500 scholarship is part of winning the Alabama News Network’s first Capital Hyundai High School Highsman award for the 2014 season.
Thomas helped the Eagles back to prominence, winning 23 games in the last two seasons. The 6-foot, 190-pound prospect earned Class 3A first-team All-State honors under center.
Thomas signed with Appalachian State in February.
