Prattville head basketball coach Earl Taylor hosts annual camp

Prattville, AL – Prattville head basketball coach Earl Taylor hosted his annual Basketball Camp of Champions on Friday.
More than 30 kids came out to learn the fundamentals of the game. “We teach them how to shoot, rebound, pass, and most importantly, teamwork,” said Taylor.
This is the second year for the camp at Prattville, but the former Saint Jude coach has hosted the event for more than ten years. Professional players from the Montgoery area, along with school officials, and referees spoke to the players. “The most important thing is they focus on education because without basketball, you have to have an education. As far as the referees, sportsmanship is also key. You have to respect the players on the other side of the ball, win or lose,” Taylor added.
