TROY, Alabama – Day three of fall camp marked the first time in pads for the Troy football team, as the Trojans wore shells (helmets and shoulder pads) for their 90-minute practice Monday morning on the fields behind Trojan Arena.
Head coach Neal Brown wasted no time letting his players get physical as the offense and defense squared off with a live competition to open practice. The Trojans focused on “drive starter” situations during the competition as they continue to install their schemes on both sides of the ball.
The Trojans will once again practice in shells on Tuesday, but will practice in the late afternoon for the first time of camp as they will hit the field at 4 p.m.
