Montgomery — When Jenkins met with the media during his first Wednesday press conference since the start of camp he talked about the largest challenge he and his staff will have before the start of the season.
“I think the biggest challenge we are going to have overall is getting our system completely installed in a short period of time,” Jenkins said. “You know spring is so important. You get a chance to come out as a new staff and see what you have and think make some adjustments and then come back in the fall with a package you think fits your skill level.”
“Well we didn’t have spring so right now we have to do what we would have done in spring and then come back and have summer camp next week and game preparation after that. It is a huge challenge to get our scheme in without having spring.”
