Another Round Of Severe Storms Friday!

Another strong storm system will make its move toward the region later this week and we’re again in line for a severe storm threat. The severe storm risk will include: tornadoes, damaging winds and quarter size hail. Take the time now to review your families severe weather plan.

In the meantime, there’s another day of nice weather coming our way Thursday.  High pressure still remains and we receive a good supply of sunshine.  Temps will start out cold in the mid 30s but warm nicely into the lower 60s that afternoon.

The storm system approaching Friday will bring rain and severe storms along with it.  A line of storms will develop west of us and move eastward through the day. There will likely be discrete cells developing ahead of the line and these could be a problem. Those individual cells could spin up tornadoes. We will be closely monitoring the development of those isolated storms.

Our upcoming weekend is looking rainfree and quiet. We expect mainly sunny skies but no significant warm up. It will be colder with highs only in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Overnight lows will hover in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
