Montgomery residents in District 7 encouraged to attend Town Hall event on Monday April 22

Montgomery Residents who live in District 7 will have a chance to voice their concerns at a Town Hall community event tomorrow night. District 7 Councilman Andrew Szymanski will be hosting his first Town Hall since he was sworn in last November. It will be held on Monday, April 22 at 5:30 p.m. at Hilltop Public House, which is Szymanski’s business downtown.

Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and all residents of District Seven and Montgomery are welcome. Szymanski has been a resident and active community leader in Montgomery for over a decade, and he says he wants to bridge the gap between his constituents and the city. “The reason we’re trying to do this and I’m trying to do this is to make myself more accessible to the public. There are a lot of people that want to be engaged in the governmental process, they want to be informed about what’s happening in their district in their neighborhood and their city. And one of the things I pledged throughout my campaign was that I was going to be accessible and give people the opportunity to interact with me and ask questions and understand things better so they know what we’re doing at city hall, ” said Szymanski.
