A public hearing for the state’s Action Plan for the funds — was held at Wallace Community College Selma — Tuesday morning.

“The plan actually focuses primarily, it all focuses on housing. And individuals will be able to apply,” said ADECA Director Kenneth Boswell.

“Everybody had to leave Selma cause there wasn’t enough housing and stuff after the tornado hit,” said Selma property owner Roy Borough.

“So, we’ve lost a lot of people. And that’s hurt a lot of businesses.”
