Widespread rain expected for Wednesday night
Less than half-an-inch of rain has fallen at the Montgomery Regional Airport since the beginning of October. Scattered showers are expected in Central and South Alabama today, then rain will affect most or all areas starting Wednesday evening. Rain could become heavy at times overnight, along with scattered thundershowers.
Dry weather should return before noon Thursday, and full sunshine is expected for Friday and this weekend. Morning low temperatures will drop into the 40s , with afternoon highs in the lower-and-middle 70s.
