Gradual clearing for the rest of today
Rain fell in many locations of Central and South Alabama early Tuesday morning. The official total was 0.45 inches at the Montgomery Airport. Sunshine should return during the afternoon today, and dry weather is expected until Wednesday night.
Widespread rain and thunderstorms will be likely on Thanksgiving Day, especially during the morning hours. A few storms could be capable of producing hail and damaging winds early Thursday. Colder air will move in for Friday and this weekend, resulting in morning lows near or below freezing on Saturday and Sunday.
