Scattered thundershowers expected for Wednesday afternoon and evening
Montgomery reached a surprisingly warm 79 degrees on Tuesday, tying the city’s record high for December 17th. Today’s record high is also 79, and we expect to climb at least into the middle 70s this afternoon.
Some areas will get rain during the PM hours of Wednesday, but the chances are less than fifty percent for any given location. Thunder and lightning could accompany any heavier showers that develop.
A gradual cooldown will begin tomorrow, dropping our high temperatures into the lower 50s by Saturday.
